Then came the FA Cup Final match against Chelsea. Just 3 days after we beat Ajax 2-1 to qualify for the Champions Cup Final against Barcelona who defeated AC Milan 9-2 on aggregate. This time around I paraded my best 11 bar one, Matthew Upson who was injured. Rhys Weston plays in his place for this match. We had a good start and were rewarded when Joe Cole sent a pass for Henry who dribbled past Gerard before shooting. GOAL! Arsenal held on to the upper hand for most of the first half, coming close on a few occasions. In the 29th minute, Henry sprayed a pass for Silvinho who dribbled his way into the Chelsea area where he finds space. GOAL! Chelsea are going to return home empty-handed for the 4th straight season despite spending so much money on the transfer market. Bergkamp came on in the second half for his final appearance in the FA Cup. The great Dutchman needed just 5 minutes to prove his worth by setting up Ljungberg. GOAL! 3 minutes later, Oscar replied for Chelsea. And just when we thought that would be the last, Gerard crept up from nowhere to score Chelsea's second in the 75th minute. But Saviola still wasn't pleased with his contribution so far. In the 86th minute, a high cross from Woodgate went into the back of the net by a spectacular overhead kick from Saviola. GOAL! What a way to seal the FA Cup! It was to be another record setting season as we won our 11th FA Cup. [ScreenShot]

The last 2 Premier League games were against Leeds and Sunderland. Both teams went home with identical 5-2 drubbing at the hands of the capable Reserve League players. Barrett really impressed me with his performance against Leeds by scoring 4 goals! While Calaio got on the score sheet twice in the match against Sunderland. Both matches were also last ones for Wiltord and Lauren who were leaving the club. The 2003/04 final league standings :- Arsenal(94), Chelsea(76), Huddersfield(65), Bristol City(65) and Manchester City(64).

Then came the Champions Cup Final against Barcelona. 51,000 fans cramped into the Amsterdam Arena for the match. Most of them were supporting Arsenal as we have a good following thanks to Bergkamp. He will be starting the match from the bench as I paired Saviola with Henry up front. We started on the back track and found ourselves a goal down after just 2 minutes. Kluivert dribbled past Ferdinand before scoring. But that was the most Barcelona could do as they tried hard to pry apart our defence. In the end, it was to their own folly when Henry sprinted through their offside trap to score Arsenal's equalizer in the 45th minute. In the second half, the pairing worked well and Henry was set free by Saviola's nifty cross and he made no mistake. GOAL! 10 minutes later, it was all over. Joe Cole's exquisite lob was chested down well by Henry who then brought the ball forward. GOAL! A magnificent comeback by Arsenal and a superb hat-trick from Henry gave us the Champions Cup. That was our 4th consecutive win and one more would put us on level terms with mighty Real Madrid of the 50s.[ScreenShot]

Our European record for this season, after having played 17 games was 15 wins and 2 draws. Scoring 47 and conceding 14.
