POST-SEASON

Saviola was our top scorer in the league and overall. He scored a total of 33 goals in all competitions. What made it more interesting was that he achieved this amazing feat by playing in just 31 games. Bergkamp followed with 24 goals, Henry (21) and Wiltord (18). Joe Cole was the top scorer among the midfielders, he got 11. Ljungberg and Pires got 10 each, followed by Greening (8) and Parlour (6). Vieira, Lauren and Vernazza scored 2 each and Quinn with a solitary goal. The defenders scored much more than before. Woodgate top the charts with 5 goals, Ferdinand and Hill with 2, followed by Canoville, Silvinho and Upson with 1 each.

The Reserves had a bad season by their standards. I guess it must be because of the fact that I've promoted a couple of senior players to the first team. Here's how they fared, 11 wins, 6 draw and 6 defeats. As usual, a few players caught my eye, Barrett (6), Notman (2), Noble (2), Pennant, Chilvers and Sidwell with a goal each.

Wiltord finally decided that he wants a newer challenge after winning everything with Arsenal. I was reluctant to let him go but for the sake of exposing Barrett and Notman to the first team, I set his transfer at £9 million. 18 players represented their respective national squad whereas 2 players represented the Under-21 squad.

I finished the season as a World Class manager, finishing at 2nd place behind Fabio Capello of AS Roma. I scored 536368 points this season. I hope you have an enjoyable time reading about my exploits.

Altogether:

Played 219 Won 172 Drew 38 Lost 9 Scored 554 Against 186
