Hi and welcome to my website. I'm Wong Kuan Yew and this personal website all of those soccer fans who wanted to know more about soccer, and so I can tell my friends all about me. This well-organized (as you can see) website is dedicated to 3 of the finest soccer teams : Arsenal FC, Juventus FC and Olympique Marseille.
    Anyway, I'm 20 years old and I'm from Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia. I've lived here all my life and have no plans whatsoever to leave this place because it's so peaceful and quiet. I'm currently going to medical school at Kuala Lumpur, you can access my school's homepage at : International Medical University.
    A lot of people asked me why I love soccer so much. Actually, I started playing soccer after witnessing (on TV) the 1990 World Cup Finals and have grown up around the sport. Nowadays, my friends and I play soccer every Friday. It has become part of our lives and I'm currently the top scorer (139 goals in 63 matches) among them. I once scored 9 goals in a 9-2 trouncing of a local side, since then goals have been flowing for me and I hope I don't hit a dry run soon. I like to play as an attacking midfielder, playing just behind the strikers. Although I am VERY lethal in the six-yard box, I'm quite comfortable as a centre-back because of my height (1.79m). Up until now, I've been loving every minute of it.
    The most important thing in my life above soccer is of course. my family. I owe everything in my life to the love of my family, who provided me with anything I've always wanted. By the way, if you're interested, I've a girlfriend already and I love her very much. My family consists of my dad, my mum, my sister (18) and me. Dad's office (he's a lawyer) is just beside my house here in Kota Bharu and I've lived here all my life. Mum's work involves my school because she's the Vice Principal (seriously). My awesome sister who doesn't share my passion in soccer is as good as any sister in the world and she is currently studying her A-Levels.
    I originally set up the 1st Edition of my website at Geocities. But because of server restrictions (no sub-directories allowed) I've switched to Tripod and added a few more sections to my website, which is currently the 2nd Edition. I hope I get to increase my traffic and boost my chances of getting a sponsor for a personal URL : www.kuanyew.com (wouldn't that be grand?).
    Hmmmm... You must be wondering where are the pictures of me and my family. To tell you the truth, I don't have a scanner so that's why there are no pictures here. But, I promise to put up these pictures as soon as I get a scanner.
